BIO

Frances has had the privilege of teaching at some of the most prestigious institutions in the country and also performing with respected companies. Her contributions to the arts have been widely recognized, and she has received numerous accolades for her work. Frances’ research is focused on some of the most pressing issues of our time - gender equality, systemic and institutional racism, and cultural preservation. She has a keen interest in exploring how art can be used as a powerful tool for social change. Presently, Frances holds the position of Artistic Director of Tapology, Inc., where she is responsible for overseeing the organization's artistic vision and direction. Additionally, she works as a Learning and Development Facilitator for the REACH Grant at the University of South Florida’s Center for Partnerships for Arts Integrated Teaching, where she helps students develop their skills and talents in arts education.
